English verbs are relatively simple compared to many other languages. They change based on tense (past, present, future) and sometimes according to the subject (person and number).

Present Tense (Regular Verb: to talk)

Examples:

  • I talk every day.

  • She talks to her friends.

Past Tense (Regular Verb: to talk)

Key Rule

  • Present Tense: Add -s for he/she/it with most regular verbs.
